Key Responsibilities
The Senior ICT Officer will be responsible for:
- Administering, maintaining and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SharePoint, CRM and other internal ICT systems.
- Developing, customizing and extending ERP functional modules using C/AL and AL to meet organizational requirements.
- Designing and implementing ERP objects such as tables, pages, codeunits, queries and reports within approved customization limits.
- Maintaining existing ERP customizations and supporting system upgrades.
- Diagnosing, documenting and resolving errors and technical issues affecting ERP functional modules.
- Designing and maintaining integrations between Business Central and internal or external systems using APIs and web services.
- Supporting the transfer of selected ERP functions and data to NAV-integrated portals in collaboration with portal development teams.
- Supporting third-party integrations at the ERP layer where required.
- Planning and implementing ERP updates, patches, upgrades and version migrations, including migrations from Dynamics NAV to Business Central.
- Safeguarding ERP data integrity during upgrades, migrations and other system changes.
- Performing regular ERP backups and participating in recovery testing to support business continuity.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation covering ERP configurations, customizations, procedures and processes.
- Integrating Microsoft 365 Business Central with other organizational systems.
- Designing custom reports and Microsoft Power BI dashboards.
- Monitoring ICT systems for vulnerabilities and responding to security incidents when necessary.
- Maintaining documentation covering source code, system configurations and ICT procedures.
- Providing technical support and training to end users to promote effective use of ICT systems and facilities.
Qualifications and Requirements

- At least six (6) years of cumulative relevant work experience, including three (3) years at the level of ICT Officer I or an equivalent/comparable position.
- Relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV development, customization and upgrades.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Informatics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Information Technology, Computer Security and Forensics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Professional certification related to Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
- Proficiency in the Dynamics NAV/Business Central object model and development environment, including C/SIDE and/or Visual Studio Code with AL.
- Knowledge of the underlying Microsoft SQL Server database.
